×1Mori samurai clan mon/sashimono t-shirt
The Mori traced their origin to the early 13th Century and held fiefs in western and southern Honshu. Under the cunning generalship of Mori Motonari, the clan defeated their local rivals the Amago and the Ouchi and they controlled much of the western half of Japan’s main island by Motonari’s death in 1571. A famous story of the day has him explaining family unity to his sons by showing how three arrows snap easily by themselves, but they are much harder to break when held in a bunch. Now you can wear the sashimono of that the Mori soldiers wore into battle and carry their glory into the present day!
