Hello, backers! March has sadly come and gone - as we discussed in previous updates, that estimate was made based on a previous campaign that had smaller order numbers and different products. The end is in sight, just not quite as soon as we'd originally predicted. Please have this high-res Francis art for your patience:
A new date will happen soon, but we don't want to make any promises until we have firm numbers. Right now, the last things we're waiting on are for the comic to finish printing and get sent to the warehouse, and for the lunchboxes to finish production.
The lunchboxes have been a new venture for us, and we thank you all for your patience as they've gone through the prototype process. It took longer than what was originally pitched to us, but the samples look lovely. See for yourself! This is the design for both sides, the front, and the back! As you can see, though, the side art was set a little high and needs to be lowered so that the words don't get cut off at the top. This is part of the prototype process and the correct placement has already been communicated to the manufacturer.
The videogame, as it doesn't require physical delivery and is a digital asset, has its own production cycle. We'll have a steam page for you to follow soon, where you can keep an eye on progress. We want it to be a robust experience rather than a hasty tie-in, so it may be a minute, but we've got a dev excited to go and a writing process underway. There'll be plenty of fun screenshots and tests to show off as it develops!
Otherwise, everything else is either already waiting patiently at the shipping warehouse, or on its way presently! As soon as we get dates on the lunchboxes' estimated delivery time, you'll start getting firmly worded emails about addresses being locked in so please look out for those!
