great news ! most of the samples for the campaign have been completed ! here are some photos from the manufacturer:
most of the samples are perfect ! for some reason the recessed metal on unrequited love's arm is nickel rather than gold so that will need to be fixed, the chain on the fated love pin is also incorrect. both of these should be easy fixes though so we are moving along nicely ! how do you like them so far ? 🖤
if you haven't yet please make sure you get to your surveys soon ! i will need to know how many of each item to order and we are still waiting on a little under 70 backers at the moment.
we have also unlocked some of the pins in the preorder shop so if you were waiting to add them to your cart now is the time !
BackerKit is still in the process of collecting pledge payments. Please double check your pledges even if there shouldn’t have been a payment issue so you don’t miss out on your rewards.
We do have a large portion of our funding marked as “failed” at the moment.
The surveys are ready to go, so I will be sending the “smoke test” surveys today. Please keep an eye on your email to see if you’re one of them. If you have any issues please comment on this post so I can look into it.

Thank you for the patience! I wanted to delay this post a bit since I knew there would be a lot of similar emails going out post-Pintopia. Bear with me for this big update!
The campaign was an incredible success, and I want to thank all of you so very much for bringing Pond's Teahouse & Gardens to life! In the first hour, we reached our initial funding goal, and by the end of the campaign we were 572% funded! That's absolutely awe-inspiring. Every single design was unlocked! Thank you so, so much for making this happen. I'm beyond thrilled!
What's next?
BackerKit has, at this point, already started to charge cards for pledges, and on my side I can see that a majority of charges have gone through already. There are currently 16 failed payments, so be sure to double-check that yours was collected successfully! If your initial payment fails, you have until the 27th to fix it (some folks have had to call their banks, some folks have had to edit/pretend to edit payment info to get cards to retry, solutions vary a lot person-to-person)! You should get an email when your pledge is collected or if it failed, so be sure to check there as well.
If payments are not fixed by the 27th, those pledges will be dropped from the campaign! After that point, the failed pledges will be processed as cancelled, and these folks will lose out on their pins, add-ons, early bird goodies & early bird/campaign discounts, freebies, so on so forth. We don't want this to happen, so please make sure you double-check your pledges! You all supported this campaign so fiercely and I really want to make sure these rewards can make it to all who pledged!
⚠️ ABOUT SURVEYS - PLEASE READ ⚠️
SURVEYS WILL BE SENT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH! This is how you will pick your desired design(s), add any additional items you might've missed during the campaign, and this is how you will be able to pay for shipping! A reminder that, if you do NOT complete your survey, I CANNOT ship your items to you. If you complete the survey late (after production has begun), you risk missing out on your preferred rewards. Late survey rewards will be subject to availability, and without guarantees. You must fill out your survey to completion & submit it in order for it to count.

Sorry I'm a bit later than expected, but I'm back to give you an update on what's going to happen next. For those who backed for the larger pins, I'm still holding on to hope that we can unlock the Monster Smut design. I've added the design to my pre-order store on Backerkit, which is now live, and it will be available to add on in the survey, but it's still very much a stretch goal at the moment.
Realistically, we need at least another 25 sales of the larger pin to guarantee its production this time. My pre-order store is open for anyone who missed the campaign and it'll remain open until the end of March. If by then we still haven't unlocked the Monster Smut design, I'll reach out to everyone who backed the larger pins to make other arrangements.
While Backerkit have been busy collecting payments, I've been busy behind the scenes preparing the surveys. I'm aiming to have the first test surveys (around 5%) sent out at the beginning of March with the remaining to follow no later than the 10th. I'd like to get these pins into your hands as quickly as possible, so when the pre-order store closes at the end of March, I'll be locking the surveys as well for final counts.
As soon as I have the final counts, the pins will go into production. I expect that to happen the first week in April and then it will probably take around 6 to 12 weeks for them to arrive with me, but it could be longer. If there are any delays with production or shipping, I'll let you know in an update.
Once the pins have arrived with me, I'll check them for any defects and then begin fulfillment. If everything goes as planned, fulfillment should be completed by late June/early July. I'm working on the shipping fees at the moment and will hopefully have them added to the surveys before they go out.
Errored Payments
Thankfully, most payments have gone through without a hitch, but as of writing this, there are 10 errored payments. I know that may not seem like a lot, but they have dropped us below the initial funding goal by over £300. Please could I ask you to check that your payment has gone through okay and if yours is unpaid, please could you update your payment details. If you're having any problems with updating your payment method, please reach out to Backerkit support as soon as possible.

The final week of the campaign I was so sick, I wanted to do more in that home stretch and have the collar pins finished, but was only able to sketch out a concept for you all. But since we'll be waiting for the funds to release before they're ordered there was still time to work on them.
I've finished the design and I'm SO happy with how it has turned out. I am speaking to my manufacturer about metal options. Because I'm intending to have the butterfly wings be stained glass and doing some screen printing, I am unsure if the rainbow metal will work out.
I may go with an antique gold or just silver if the rainbow/blue doesn't work out. I'll keep you all in the loop and as always love to hear feedback from y'all! I'm really vibing with the gold tbh. I received a question on the last day about how to order the set.
I also REALLY bumbled the "In All Timelines" design that last week. I was running a fever of 101 and really wanted something to show you guys. BUT I've redrawn it a couple of times and feel like I've gotten it to a good spot! Like with the collar pins, I'm trying for the rainbow metal, stained glass and screen printing, but it might not work out. That one will definitively be silver if the rainbow/blue doesn't work.
Additionally, because of the detail on this pin, it will probably end up having to be larger than my initial estimate of 1.5 inches, it will be closer to the 2.5" like Pit Fighter Vi. Do not worry friends, all original backers of the campaign will be able to select it from the 1.5" tier since that was my bad. For Pre-Orders and when I sell them in the future, they will be the same price as Pit Fighter Vi. The same may happen with the Collar Pins. Updates to come after I've heard back from my manufacturer.
As I said, we have a few weeks before the funds are released and I can get the pins ordered. During that time I will be building the backer surveys and they will be sent out by the end of February. Everyone will have roughly 2-3 weeks to fill them out. March is a VERY busy month for me, I have 3 conventions! But I built that into our timeline, here is a review of it for you folks.

By now, all of you should have had your payments processed. At the time of writing this update, we have roughly 33 errored pledges affecting roughly $2k in our funding pool. Fortunately, this is within my project budget "buffer" % and should not affect any of our unlocked items. Please do your best to remedy your payment method as soon as possible.
As a reminder, after 14 days, if I do not hear back from you that you wish to keep your pledge (and need the full 14 day extension to pay), I will process your pledge as cancelled, and any special promotional offers and prices in your pledge will be forfeit.

Backer Surveys / Order Confirmations:
⚠THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!⚠ For those of you who have never backed a crowdfunding campaign before, this is the most crucial step of your pledge order as this is the only way I can fulfill and ship your rewards. It is imperative that you fill your survey out to completion upon it being sent to you via email. Failure to do so heavily affects our final inventory count and prevents me from fulfilling the campaign efficiently, so please fill your surveys out to completion when you receive yours.
Roughly 14 days after the campaign ends, a 'smoke test' will go out to select backers to help me verify that the survey form is working correctly. I anticipate sending all backer surveys around February 28th or slightly sooner.
In Summary:
33 backers have errored payments. Please remedy at your earliest convenience.
If after 14 days your payment is still errored, you may be dropped from the campaign. Please let me know before the 7 day buffer if you need the full 14 days to pay.

You will be able to add items then. Making a new order via the backerkit will create 2 orders and while I am able to combine them, it does cause confusion.. So, please just sit tight and wait for your survey to be issued before adding more goodies!
Post-campaign add-ons and preorder store will close March 5th or if we reach 350 backers. Payments for additional items and all non-campaign preorders will begin to process March 6-7th. Shipping fees will be collected closer to May when I know when fulfillment is to begin!
