Project Update: Shipping Update: Backerkit Orders are on the Way!
Dear Backers,
- Orders are divided by character and shipped in batches. For example, if one character has 7 orders and another has 25, the batch with 7 orders will ship first.
- Each order is shipped separatelyβso if you have multiple bags, you may receive them at different times. Rest assured, any remaining items are on their way!
β Most orders are progressing smoothly! However, a few items are still pending:
- Stolas Backerkit, Plushies, and Inserts have not yet arrived.
- Stolitz Backerkit is experiencing delays, and Iβm exploring options with a different manufacturer due to a lack of progress.
- 12x20 Bags & Boxes are pending shipment from Alibaba, but they should arrive soon.
- Vee Bags are arriving gradually, and we expect to finish their shipments this week, as their labels are already prepared.

Project Update: Pride Potions: March Update - Part 2
To begin with, I'm deeply sorry for the delays. I've definitely made some mistakes over the past year, and am working to correct everything as swiftly as possible. To that end, as I've previously stated:
I WILL NOT BE RUNNING ANY MORE CAMPAIGNS OR PROJECTS UNTIL ALL OUTSTANDING PROJECTS ARE FULFILLED.
I thought I had made that clear, but it seemed as though some were still confused.
I know I dropped the ball. I've done my best to communicate as clearly as possible, but evidently my updates have still been lacking, so here's a breakdown of the situation.
Thanks to various life circumstances, I unfortunately took far longer than anticipated to complete proofs necessary for the manufacturing process to begin, along with switching manufacturers. At this point, however, I've finally managed to almost fully catch up on everything at this point, and Foxwright Apothecary has been fully in production for several weeks now. As promised, here's some a photo update from the manu of some of the molds:
Pride Potions has now also fully entered production, and surveys for Decadent Orchard should be sent out before April. Proofs for Decadent Orchard have been completed at this point, so following survey responses, that project can also enter production swiftly. As it currently stands, all Foxwright Apothecary pins should be shipped before the end of May, provided there are no significant delays in manufacturing or shipping, which are outside of my control. Pins for all ongoing projects should be shipped before the end of Summer 2025. I know that this is less than ideal for many; my aim is to resolve these projects before the summer begins.
I understand the concerns expressed in the comments, and would like to know what I can do to better serve everyone. Would it be preferred that I make an update once a week, even if I have nothing new to share, or would it be preferable for updates to only address new developments?

Things are moving along!
β Thank you all for sticking with me, and for the continued support and patience!
Project Update: Shipping update and Year 4 announcement!
I just received copies of The Slayer's Magic with its new cover, and brand new copies of The Traveler's Magic, so I'll be shipping out those books this week!
That means we only have three more books left in the Space Wizard Year 3 roster to release!
First is Heather Tracy's book, Only a Chapter, which I showed off last update. Copy edits are going on now, and it will be released on April 22!
Second is the new version of How to Operate Your Body, my nonfiction book. I released "The Legs" last year, and after writing on "The Arms" this year, I decided it would be better to roll everything into one full book so there wouldn't be any overlap between them, especially as a lot of the exercises use your whole body. So I'm updating the cover a little to match! This one will be released mid to late May.
The last book released for Space Wizard Year 3 will be the 6th book in J.S. Fields' Ardulum series! This latest one is titled Ardulum: MIrrors of Andal and will be releasing in June during our Year 4 campaign!
Speaking of our next campaign, I spent most of January and February working on developmental edits, and I'm very much looking forward to this next selection of books. Take a gander at what books are in store below or right here, and if you want to make sure to get all the latest updates (and author interviews as we start them up in April and May) then click the link below to be notified!
That's all for now! I'll have some updates next time about our second campaign coming this year!

Project Update: BACKERKIT UPDATE ! (NEARING THE END)
π’ BackerKit Shipping Update β March 2025 π’
- Owl House bags (USA pledges) β Shipping should finish ASAP! I am waiting on a few commissions that will help me wrap up shipping!
- Hazbin Bags β Shipping will resume ASAP!
- Hazbin Heaven & Stolas Bags β These will start once the previous shipments are finished.
- Large 10x20 Bags β Since these are bigger than the samples, I had to order new boxes. Shipping will start soon.
- EU Shipping β European Shipping for each backerkit is unfortunately a bit delayed due to new EU shipping issues I was not aware of. If I have to I might have to refund EU orders, but I am trying my best to not let this happen. If I dont do this right I could get fined heavily and Im trying to take the precautions for this to not happen, while still being able to give you your bags. <3
If you have an upcoming con and need your order sooner, please email me at [email protected] with:
1οΈβ£ The bags you ordered
2οΈβ£ The con youβre attending
3οΈβ£ The date of the event
I want to be fully transparentβmanufacturing costs are split into $400-$500 payments, which I pay off weekly using Klarna or AfterPay (payment plans that let me pay in 4). This means Iβm paying around $100-$150 per week, and because I do this every week, the costs stack up fast.
The good news is my manufacturer gave me a $1,000 credit due to a shipping issue, so all FUTURE shipping costs are covered! (This does not include stuff I am already paying for, I had around $1500 left, and only had to pay another $500. So future payments are done but I am still paying things off) My goal is to get most orders shipped out by the end of March, because Iβll be vending at Anime Arizona!
March / April will absolutely be the upshift of shipping, as I'll be having some friends come out to help me GET THESE BAGS OUT OF MY STORAGE UNIT
Trust me, I want them gone. Paying for a $250 storage unit for 50 boxes is NOT ideal. I want them GONE. </3
And we've resolved the future shipping issues hopefully, as I am getting a new representative that I have in contract cannot add fees after bulk creation, so this won't happen again!! :D
If youβre attending Anime Arizona and want to pick up your bag in person, please message me before the con! Iβll bring it in a special shipment for you.
P.S ! :
If you msg me and I tell you to use email for contact please know it is not personal. I've gotten threats in places like Instagram, and for safety of myself and being able to report to Backerkit, I have to use email. Thank you!
Project Update: Shipping update and new covers!
We're closing in on the end of Space Wizard Year 3! Only four more books are releasing before we have a new campaign for Year 4, coming in June. There's already an amazing lineup of books for this, and I'm starting to get some cover images already, so stay tuned for that in a later update!
I just shipped out a bunch of books, and the next set will go out around when C.J. Hosack's The Traveler's Magic releases in March. Then there's Heather Tracy's book, Only a Chapter, coming to you in April, my nonfiction, How to Operate Your Body, in May, and we're capping the year off with J.S. Fields' new Ardulum book, now titled Mirrors of Andal!
For now, I've got three covers to show off. The first is Station in the Sky, by Caye March, which just shipped out! This book combines Caye Marsh's first story, Peace in the Sky, along with the all-new Station in the Sky, which follows the events of the first book.
Second, we've actually got a twofer for you. We have a new cover for C.J. Hosack's The Traveler's Magic, and Katie Cordy did such a good job with it, we had her make a new cover for The Slayer's Magic as well to match!
Finally, I'm excited to show off Heather's new book, coming out in April! Only a Chapter is a sci-fi-lite romance with parallel realities and a bisexual protagonist!
If you're read any Space Wizard books and enjoyed them, I'd love it if you left a review on Goodreads, Amazon, or any other storefront. That really helps get the attention of new readers.
Finally, are you going to WorldCon in Seattle this year? If you have a voting membership, then you can suggest books for the Hugo award! Space Wizard has a lot of opportunities by some excellent authors. You can find a list of eligible works right here!
That's it for now, but I'll be back next month with more updates!

Hi Carrie, I'm a Canadian backer. My plan for finishing the pledge was to have my pin sent to a US address alongside a couple of other parcels I would have been getting, in order to save on fairly horrific Canadian shipping costs. Well, I'm not doing the other purchases. I've been out of work for a while now. All discretionary spending is stopping for me for a little while. And of course, there are the political shenanigans, which make me trust shipping from the USA a bit less. Please consider my pledge cancelled. Sadly. Your designs are lovely and I would like to support you in the future. If you care to refund any portion of my pledge that would be wonderful. If not, please put it toward something wonderful. Thank you, Geoffrey Smith
Project Update: Pride Potions: January Update
(most of this update was drafted last night; I was far too exhausted by the end of the day to effectively complete it and proofread)
Project Update: Tavern Tale is shipping out, plus anthology news!
I just took several packages to the post office to fulfil orders for the release of Kristina W. Kelly's Tavern Tale! If you haven't seen the cover yet, this was drawn by the amazing Serene Chia, who also did the cover for Physical Magic. The lettering was done by Audrey Logsdon, another local artist I met through vendor markets.
Tavern Tale has been getting some great reception as always, and for this book, and any of the others from Space Wizard, if you've read and enjoyed them, putting a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or any other review site really helps the books get noticed!
Next month we'll see the release of Caye Marsh's Station in the Sky, the follow-up to last year's Peace in the Sky. This new version not only includes the new book, but includes Peace in the Sky as well, for your reading pleasure!
Finally, I have some amazing news connected to the second campaign I ran in 2024, for Lesbians in Space, the anthology.
Our final entrant count for submissions was 54 stories, and a total of almost 234,000 words! To put this in perspective, we raised enough money during the campaign to pay authors for about 20 stories or around 80,000 words...
That means we got enough stories to fill almost three anthologies!
Finally, we made the decision to have not one, but two anthologies! That means Lesbians in Space: Where No Man Has Gone Before will be releasing in June 2025, but we are also preparing a new campaign later in 2025 to raise funds for Lesbians in Space: The Sapphics Strike Back! This is along with Space Wizard's Year 4 campaign, still currently slated for June 2025, so be sure to watch for announcement for both campaigns!
That's it for now. I'll be back with more news next month!
